The first time I met Barbara was nearly 6 years ago, it was under an emergency situation & a Saturday morning, a friend of mine had used her for one of her dogs with amazing results & had given me her phone number just incase I ever had the need to consult her. My little 8 week old puppy Tina had suddenly stopped eating & barely drinking this went on for 2 days I had tried everything including force feeding, been to my vet who had no idea what the problem was but gave me antibiotics on the Friday, I was able to get her to eat a little that night so hoped we had made a break through. On the Saturday morning she was very wobbly on her feet & could hardly stand but refused to eat again, I was beside myself with worry and of course phoned Barbara introduced myself told her what the problem was & asked if I could bring her up so she could maybe help, Barbara did not hesitate is saying yes.
It is about a two hour drive from where I live & I could see Tina fading in front of my eyes, what a terrible trip that was. When I got to Barbara's place we were both put at ease with her lovely calm reassuring manner, Barbara asked me questions all the time just very quietly talking to & communicating with Tina, after a very short time she got out one of her remedies which she gave to Tina, at the same time telling me Tina is very sad, her best friend had gone away & she misses her terribly! You could have knocked me over with a feather as that is exactly what had happened although at the time I didn't connect it with Tina's refusal to eat. I had a 9 week old puppy called Jodi when Tina came to live with me & they were the very best of friends sleeping eating & playing together as only little puppies can do, unfortunately 10 days after Tina being here Jodi passed away very suddenly...........
